Author’s Note: This is a predictive piece on what I think will happen next in the series of books for The Magnificent 12
What would you do if a three thousand year-old man named Grimluck appeared before you one day at school and said you were destined to be a magical hero that saves the world? That’s what happed to Mack MacAvoy, a 12-year old boy that suffers from a serious case of mediumness – medium grades, medium looks, medium parents that barely notice him, tons of phobias, etc. Grimluk tells Mack he will be the leader of the Magnificent 12, a magical group of people that would defend the world from evil beings such as the Pale Queen.
For the future books in the Magnificent 12 series, I predict that the remaining ten people around the world that will be found to complete the Magnificent 12 but during their journey, they will encounter various creatures that Princess Ereskigal will bring with her to try to defeat them in their quest to save the world. I also predict the Magnificent 12 will eventually master the Vargran tongue, an ancient spell speaking language, in order to defeat the Pale Queen and her daughter, Princess Ereskigal. Since Princess Ereskigal has twelve lives, The Magnificent 12 will have to kill her eleven more times in order for her to be permanently dead and no longer a threat and then they will be able to kill the Pale Queen.
In conclusion, I believe these events will happen because I feel that the storyline has similarities to the Harry Potter series where the main characters are chosen ones and over time master their magical talents and eventually defeat the evil beings that pose a threat to them.
